The Hungarian House of New York is owned by three non-profit organizations:
- the American Hungarian Library and Historical Society, led by President László Hámos
- the Hungarian Scout Association in Exteris, led by President Imre Lendvai-Lintner
- and the Széchenyi István Society, led by President Ákos Felsővályi.
The Owners’ Committee meets regularly about management issues; management is provided by the American Foundation for Hungarian Literature and Education, Ltd., and umbrella organization.
Daily operations are overseen by the Manager of Operations, Ildikó Nagy.
