The Hungarian House of New York is owned by three non-profit organizations:
- the American Hungarian Library and Historical Society, led by President Árpád Krizsán
- the Hungarian Scout Association in Exteris, led by President Imre Lendvai-Lintner
- and the Széchenyi István Society, led by President Ákos Rózsa
Management is provided by the American Foundation for Hungarian Literature and Education, Ltd. Operation is overseen by the executive director of the Hungarian House, Ildikó Nagy.
