The Hungarian House of New York and the American Hungarian Library and Historical Society presents

Kalotaszegi Workshop & Táncház

with two legendary folk dancers from Hungary: Farkas Zoltán ”Batyu” & Tóth Ildikó “Fecske”

3 pm – 6 pm Workshop: Dances of Kalotaszeg

6:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Children’s Dance

followed by táncház with instruction

Live music by Fényes Banda

Admission: 

$20 workshop, $15 táncház, or $30 for both

$5 for children (refundable if parents attend evening party)

Batyu and Fecske are former soloists with the Hungarian State Ensemble, co-founders of the Kodály Ensemble, and dancers with the world renowned Muzsikás Ensemble.
