Opportunity to transform the Hungarian House of New York into a vibrant cultural and community center.

The Owners’ Committee is seeking a passionate, dynamic, well-rounded individual or individuals with excellent communication skills and leadership qualities to move the HH to its next level and to better serve our community.

The Hungarian House in New York City is one of the oldest Hungarian institutions operating on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, the epicenter of the Hungarian Community. It has been the home of the Hungarian community since 1966 providing a venue for cultural events and as a gathering place for the many community groups.

Programming
Create and organize regular cultural events aimed at both the Hungarian community in the tri-State area as well as non-Hungarian speakers interested in Hungarian culture.

Administration & Management
Management of all operations of the house, including rentals, financial reporting, and other general administrative tasks.

Technical Support & Maintenance
Overseeing the general condition of the Hungarian House and any related projects. Provide technical support for events and rentals
