About the event

Step into a dreamlike evening of enchanting melodies with Dal Sogno, an all-female ensemble whose name translates to "From the Dream." Join us the Hungarian House on Thursday, June 27th for a wonderful Summer's Eve of Music.

Prepare to be mesmerized by a diverse program featuring works by renowned composers such as Kodály, Dohnányi, Haydn, and Mozart, alongside captivating pieces by lesser-known talents like NomBeko and De Kenessey. From the haunting strains of "The Indian's Death Song" to the innovative fusion of string trio and electronic tracks in "Unorthodox Redux," each performance offers a glimpse into the rich tapestry of chamber music.

Dal Sogno is more than just an ensemble; these ladies are on a mission to amplify the voices of persecuted, marginalized, and overlooked composers. Through carefully curated concerts, they shed light on the historical context of these musical gems, offering fresh perspectives on classical music while celebrating diversity and inclusion.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of traditional classics, modern marvels, and everything in between. Let us transport you to a world where music knows no bounds and dreams become reality.
