Dance instruction lead by: Kata Szivós and Cathy Lamont. Kata is a dancer, teacher, choreographer for the Folkmode Company, artistic director at several art schools, and the head of Sergő folk dance group in Budapest. Last year, she worked in Manchester as a scholarship recipient of the Sándor Kőrösi Csoma Program, and she is continuing her diaspora work with the same scholarship in Washington DC. Cathy is Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Tisza Ensemble, actively performing Hungarian dance in the Washington, DC area since 1982. She received the Magyar Érdemkereszt for her work in leading, teaching, and promoting Hungarian Dance in the US.  She studied in Hungary with the Nyírség Ensemble of Nyíregyháza, Hungary, and actively teaches folk dance.
