October 23, 1956 Hungarian Uprising Remembrance Event

Please join us on this 68th Anniversary Remembrance Concert for the October 23rd, 1956, Hungarian Uprising. In the spirit of unity and courage we are joined on this occasion by world renown pianist, Balázs Fülei and a moving combination of music by Hungarian composers Liszt, Bartók, and Kodály.

Fülei has won the Junior Prima Prize, the Artisjus Prize, the Solti Foundation Prize, and the Liszt Prize. In 2020, Steinway & Sons awarded him the title "Steinway Artist" and he is currently Head of the Department of Chamber Music at Liszt Academy.
