Az eseményről

Join us for a stirring theatrical evening that brings history, literature, and the spirit of freedom to life!

The performances will be in Hungarian.

For the occasion of March 15, Hungary’s National Day commemorating the 1848 Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight, we proudly present The World is Boiling, a special theatrical performance by the Nemzeti Színház (National Theatre of Budapest).

March 15, 1848 marked the moment when poets, actors, politicians, women, and men stood together to demand freedom, independence, and civic rights. This performance honors those voices—and reminds us that the fight for liberty has always been a shared, collective act. The literary program is portrayed through the lens of historical figure Mr. Lajos Kossuth, and depicts well established relationship between the two freedom-loving peoples, the Hungarians and the Americans.

The literary program is performed by four artists of the National Theater: József S. Kovács, Mari Nagy, Ágota Szilágyi and Zsolt Trill.
